Presently, we are collecting error reports at Launchpad. Before filing a bug,
- consider first whether a malfunction may be explainable on the basis of a mis-installation or a mis-configuration
- know that, effective with the client 0.3.3 release, the GNUmed client offers to email reports of certain errors (unhandled exceptions) to gnumed-bugs. If at all possible in such a report, try to provide a good description of the circumstances, and see whether – after exiting and restarting your computer, and GNUmed – the problem is reproducible. New bug reports that have been emailed to gnumed-bugs will automatically get ported to Launchpad.
- before manually filing a bug, please also review known issues and also known bugs at Launchpad to avoid duplication (the link "review known bugs" is pre-selected to list all bugs, searchable on whole-word [title or content]). Ordinarily, bug searches would miss fixes already-committed or released.
- to file a bug manually, you must register with Launchpad by providing (and then logging in using) a useridEmail and a password, here
- once registered at Launchpad, you can also subscribe to be emailed updates on bug reports
